Here are some of the tips:

  • Get teens excited to get rid of the cavities by taking care of those teeth that they have. brushing twice daily, flossing once a day, and looking at this is important. Teens care a lot about how they do look, so if you get them to realize that their oral health also plays a huge part in how they look, it could get them to feel excited to take care of it. educate them  on the bad side effects of poor oral hygiene. Bad breath, teeth that are missing, and other issues can plague someone down the road.

  • Take care of your own teeth. Setting the right example shows that you’re not a hypocrite, and it won’t fall on deaf ears, but instead, the kid will care a whole lot more.

  • Provide the supplies. Have some soft-bristled toothbrushes, some flavored floss that’s colored, or those plastic flooring tools on hand to help with this. also consider having some toothpaste that also tastes good. Have a multiple so that if a teen is rushing out, they can still take care of their teeth without missing these events.
